Houtimport v.d. Hoogenhoff importeert het – veelal gekantrecht – Amerikaans noten 65 mm rechtstreeks uit de Verenigde Staten. Het wordt ook wel notenhout, notelaar of walnoot genoemd. Deze houtsoort is over het algemeen eenvoudig te bewerken en wordt dan ook veelvuldig ingezet in de meubelindustrie.
